>2011- Kaiser Permanente Colorado is one of America's top private health plans. "NCQA's Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2010-2011" lists Kaiser Permanente as highest-rated plan in Colorado and No. 9 in the nation. The rankings are based on data collected, analyzed and converted to scores by the NCQA. The three reporting categories include consumer satisfaction, prevention and treatment. Kaiser Permanente achieved a score of 703 on a 1,000-point scale, 21 points higher than the average health plan score in Colorado. The organization received the highest marks in four key areas; coverage and benefits, information and communications, claims processing and customer service.
>October 2010- Sixteen Kaiser Permanente Colorado physicians honored as 5280 Magazine Top Docs. The survey pulls all registered physicians in the metro area and asks them to select fellow doctors they believe are "top" in their specialty.
>September 2010- Kaiser Permanente Colorado wins two top 'Champions in Health Care' Awards From the Denver Business Journal. The awards, which recognize outstanding health care professionals in the community, were given to Kaiser Permanente endocrinologist and lipidologist John Merenich, MD and the Community Benefit team. Doctor Merenich received the award in the Innovation category for his work developing Kaiser Permanente's Health Tracking Registry and Alert Companion, which allows physicians to identify and proactively track patients who have been diagnosed with specific conditions.
The Community Benefit team won the award in the Large Facility category. This team of experts works to improve the health of all Coloradoans by creating environments where people can easily make healthy choices.
