<b>Western Health Advantage Receives Top Ratings in California</b>
<li>Western Health Advantage is proud of its long-standing Excellent accreditation status given by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The ¿Excellent¿ status according to NCQA, is reserved for the nation¿s best health plans. It is awarded to those plans that meet or exceed NCQA¿s rigorous requirements for consumer protection and quality improvement and deliver excellent clinical care. </li>
<li>Covered California rated Western Health Advantage a four-star health plan based on members¿ reported experiences. A rating of four stars is the highest recognition a health plan can receive and is shared by only two health plans in Northern California. </li>
<li>Western Health Advantage received the most number of stars on the HMO Report Card, released by the California Office of the Patient Advocate. WHA was one of only two health plans that received a rating of 12 stars. The 2014 report card provides California consumers with side-by-side comparisons of the 10 largest HMO health plans in the state. </li>
