• Silver plans – Ambetter Balanced Care: you can expect to pay a higher monthly premium with a silver plan than a bronze plan, but your out-of-pocket cost for covered healthcare services is lower. This plan may be right for you if you want a moderate balance between what you pay for health insurance and what you pay when you need care.
• Gold plans – Ambetter Secure Care: you will likely pay a higher monthly premium for a gold plan than either the bronze or silver plan. However, your out-of-pocket costs are likely to be lower with a gold plan than coverage with a silver or bronze plan. This plan works well if you use healthcare services frequently, for a chronic condition for example or if you anticipate needing healthcare services. If you are budget-minded you may prefer a set premium amount each month to variable amounts.
